In this competitive world, survival is the most important thing. As you know, it is only the fittest that will survive. Survival in any university, in this competitive world, becomes difficult for most of the students. While in their attempt of survival, students face a lot of problems.

In the following sections, we will be discussing the top seven magical tips for survival as a student.

1. Balancing of life. The most common problem faced by most of the students is creating a balance in their lives. By balance, I mean maintaining equilibrium between your studies, sports, other activities, rest and meals. Most of the students tend to miss their meals and recreational activities. Absence of these causes you lose your health and gain stress. Utilize sufficient time for all of these activities. Give special time for recreational activities.

2. Attitude. It is important to maintain a positive attitude towards life. If you fail to complete some task, don't get dishearten and look at the positive side. You can put it like this: things could have turn out to be even worse. So look at the positive side and don't let the stress get heavy on you. Moreover, have a good attitude among making friends. Working with friends in a friendly environment is always a good experience.

3. Adjustment to the Environment. The most difficult job for a student is to adjust to the environment. Adjustment means adjusting with the work culture of the university or college. Every place has its own work culture, and of course most of them tend to differ. This is something which you can achieve with a great deal of practice.

4. Dealing with personal issues. Next tip is to
deal with your personal issues. Most of the time things don't go as expected, so it is better to solve any personal issues arising. You can do the following things:

a. Consult your supervisor.
b. Consult your doctor.
c. Get the issue resolved by sharing it with a friend.

5. Know the system. Next tip is to know the system. By this I mean knowing the university's rules and regulations. You can't ignore these rules. Carefully read the University schedules and calendar. Look out for the following things:

a. CGPA requirements.
b. Method of its calculation
c. Your rights and responsibilities.
d. Deadlines for the works.
e. All the rules and regulations.

6. Manage Time. Try to manage your time in an efficient manner. Plan your schedule. Make a timetable. Try to achieve your goals in small steps. Success does not come in abundance. It is those small steps of yours which, when followed for long time, can give you a great, successful career.

7. Set goals. It is a very important tip, as this decision of yours will decide your future. Have a clear view of your goals. Remember you cannot achieve success until you have a specified goal in life. To have a clear view of your goal, ask yourself these questions:

a. What is my desired destination in 4 to 5 years?
b. How will I get there?
c. Can my present studies take me there?
d. What are the other things I need to do?
e. What are the obstacles in my way?

Try to solve your problems by following these tips, and see your career achieving great measures.
